The Carroll Center for the blind and the Guide Horse Foundation got together and thought that it would be nice to have our graduation in Boston. I thought this was great I would be able to see some of my teachers and old friends.

We arrived in Boston in the late afternoon, It was sunny and clear and just a little breezy. Elaine Driscoll of Regan Communications met us when we arrived at the Boston Harbor hotel, She showed us to our rooms so we could get ready for the graduation. When I was finished getting ready we went down stairs. There was a lot of press and we had many pictures taken.

The graduation itself was to be held at a place called the Rack. When it was time to go to the Rack, we all got into a big van. After we were all in the van a policeman came up to the van and told the driver to follow them. Now that was something I had never experienced. A motorcycle police escort. When we were about halfway there we were joined by two mounted police officers. Two horses to the front and two motorcyle police in the rear. I couldn't believe it. It felt good to know that there was a lot of people interested in this event.

When we pulled up to the Rack there was so many people waiting there to see Cuddles and I. When Cuddles and I got out of the van I could hear all kinds of ooooo's and aaahhhh's people were really impressed with her. They could not believe how small she was and how cute she was. The press was there again and we had to have our pictures taken some more. Cuddles got to meet one of the police horses. They seemed to hit it off pretty well.

Now I want to say that I never had any kind of media attention. So when the time came to talk to the press I was so over whelmed with everything that had happened over the last view days that I did not remember everything I wanted to say, or everybody I wanted to thank. I will do that on this site though with a credits page, giving credit to all those who helped Cuddles and I become a team.
